Hello there!

This website mainly exists as a means for me to challenge myself to learn and use a variety of HTML functions, as well as to perhaps showcase myself a little.

I am a first class graduate from the UOM with publishing experience who is eager to find the right role for themselves.

Major Publications

The Leather Bound Sacrilage

This is the first publication I worked on, a fiction novel published under the pseudonym Tim Cook as part of a student project in which we worked as a group to produce the book within a tight deadline. I took responsibility over a chapter of the novel, as well as editing and proofreading all aspects of the book.

Llantrisant: A Reader

I was tasked to contribute to and help produce this publication at The Crocels Press Limited. I performed a variety of functions, with the most significant being researching, writing about 20,000 words, editing, and proofreading the book. I also worked to promote the book and contact prospective contributors via means such as mail merge. I am also currently working on a chapter about Forensic Linguistics for a different edited book project which is due to be published sometime in 2022 by IGI.

Other Publications

Investigating the representation of issues surrounding multilingualism in the British press:

Case study published on the University of Manchester’s Multilingual Manchester website investigating how the same stories about multilingualism were represented in dramatically different ways when comparing different newspapers.

Overcoming Transgression on the Internet: Considering Multimedia Forensic and Linguistic Techniques:

I am currently working on my own 10,000-word chapter centred around Forensic Linguistics which will feature within this academic publication. The chapter should showcase knowledge picked up from my English Language degree and will be published sometime in 2022.

World Englishes: Nigerian English:

I was not planning on uploading much if any of my university work, but I will make an exception for this paper. I think the subject of different English varieties is one which is not given much attention generally, despite it being quite an interesting subject. Anyway, I enjoyed writing this paper and I think that it turned out rather well.
